Specialized Eye Exams
A comprehensive examination includes dilation of the eye. This helps detect and prevent any ocular issues that may be detrimental to your vision. We recommend an eye exam at least once a year, and if you have diabetes, hypertension, or glaucoma, you might require more than once a year.
Pediatric Eye Care
It is recommended that children receive an eye exam beginning at 6 months of age followed by another one at three and six years of age. If your child does not have any signs and symptoms that are of concern, we recommend that they get at least one eye exam at the age of 5 right before they start school. This will help determine any issues that may go undetected by a vision screening and can help prevent a lazy eye or an eye turn.
