Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.
Doctor Correa received his Associate of Natural Science from Lee College in Baytown, TX. He then pursued his Bachelor of Biology from the University of Houston and finished his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. While at UH, Doctor Correa participated in human genetics studies and health, receiving a vast understanding of conditions such as Turner’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and more.
While at Incarnate Word, he rotated under the supervision of Dr. Rick Sharp for Sharp Eye Consultants and Dr. John Kozlovsky for KDW, He learned the importance of general health care and eye care.
Doctor Correa is a preventative-based doctor addressing life-threatening problems, health problems, and vision-threatening problems. While at Incarnate Word, Dr. Correa founded The Low Vision and Rehabilitation Club to aid the community with vision loss.
He was awarded for his clinical excellence from 2009 to 2013 consecutively. He was also cited for excellence in private practice and contact lens care in 2013 and voted “Best in Class of 2013” by his peers for Vision Monday.
