Meet Our Eye Doctor and Team

Our very own Dr. Jose Correa provides a wide range of eye and vision care services in our office. Dr. Correa completed his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, where he was involved in a number of human genetics studies and learned extensively about genetic conditions, some of which can affect the eye and vision health. He also had the opportunity to study under the guidance of well known Dr. Rick Sharp, where he learned more about the importance of eye care.

Dr. Correa went on to found The Low Vision and Rehabilitation Club and was honored with a number of industry awards, including the clinical excellence award from 2009 through 2013 and the "Best in Class" recognition in 2013. He is also a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist.

Today, Dr. Correa's patients appreciate his compassion and attention to detail. He is also known for taking his time with his patients, explaining any procedures or tests and being sure to answer any questions or concerns that patients may have.

Optometry Services Offered By Our Optometrist in TX

Our optometrist in TX is proud to offer a wide range of comprehensive optometry services, starting with our eye and vision exams. We generally recommend these exams for our patients at least once a year, as they allow us to stay up-to-date on changes in your eye health while also making sure you have the right corrective vision prescription. For children, we even also specialized pediatric eye care services.

Our eye doctor also offers evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment/management for any number of eye and vision conditions or diseases. From glaucoma care to treatment for vision problems like astigmatism and presbyopia, our experienced optometry team has the resources and skill needed to assist you.

If it turns out you need new glasses, contacts, sunglasses, or other optical services, you can also find these here.

Save on Treatment With Vision Insurance

For this reason, we are proud to accept a wide range of vision insurance plans to help make your treatment more affordable. Some examples of common medical and Medicaid plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna, TMHP, Molina, and the Texas Children's Health Plan.
